Risk Management Procedure
A Risk Management Procedure is a systematic approach to identifying hazards and assessing and controlling the associated risks. This Risk Management Procedure outlines how to identify hazards in your workplace as well as how to assess the risks by determining the consequences and likelihood of a potential incident or injury. Assessing the risks will determine the order of priority needed to treat or control the risks. This Risk Management Procedure also includes the hierachy of risk control, responsibilities and a risk assessment table or risk matrix for assessing the risk rating.
This Risk Management Procedure should be used when creating all workplace procedures and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
The Risk Management Procedure is included in our WHS Management System or can be purchased individually and used as a stand alone document.
