The use of alcohol and other drugs can affect the behaviour, impair judgement and may cause the affected person to injure themselves or others. There can also be other related costs to your organisation through lateness, inefficiency and absenteeism, lost time and production, and dangerous incidents due to inappropriate use of drugs and alcohol. Unless you clearly state the behaviour you want from your workers, you can’t expect everyone to behave in a manner acceptable to your organisation.
